Candle care and safety...

Hello gorgeous ones, happiest of New Years to you!! 

 To begin the year we thought it might be a great idea to touch on some candle care and safety tips...candles are such a beautiful addition to our homes and workplaces for so many reasons. As lovely as they are, it's important to remember that they are a small contained fire, so to help you enjoy your candles the best you can, here's some care & safety tips:

  • Always trim your wicks - keep wicks at the recommended 4mm length
  • Keep candles away from direct sunlight and drafts from windows or air conditioners
  • Clean your solid candle with dry lint free cloth
  • When burning candles, don't extinguish until the wax pool has reached each side of the container...this reduces waste and prolongs the life of your candle
  • Always burn candles clear of flammable items such as ornaments, window coverings & plants - also ensure your surface is stable! 
  • Extinguish your candle after 4 hours
  • Never leave a lit candle unattended
